In 2020, the Battle Ground Public School District in Battle Ground, WA had a need for some shelters to cover their outdoor basketball courts. RCP Shelters was able to provide the school district with their steel frame gable and tongue and groove decking shelter. The roof pitch for this shelter is 4:12 and has an eave height of 12 feet. They selected the SLF-G4080-04-SSM-G, which has premium options such as standing seam roofing and gutters. The Medallion-Lok roofing system that was selected is a 24-ga snap fit true standing seam metal roof. This is a hidden fastener roofing system. Another premium option is having gutters. The gutters are attached to the fascia of the shelter and can match the color of the roof or steel columns. The tongue and groove roof decking are made from 2 x 8 planks made from Southern Yellow Pine. The planks are stained in Natural 716 stain that is applied prior to construction. The school district has ordered multiple of these shelters for their other schools in the district. Could your school be next?
